Repairs run on a separate, lighter-touch process than custom work, most of the time, all I need is a few photos to give you an honest answer.

Repair philosophy
Designed to be repaired,
not replaced.
Mass-produced leather goods are rarely worth fixing, but hand-stitched, full-grain pieces are designed to be opened up and rebuilt. Repair is one of the quietest pleasures of well-made things.
FAQ
Common questions.
No, bring me anything in leather. I work on goods from any maker, including big-brand pieces, vintage finds, and family heirlooms.
It depends entirely on the piece and the work. Most simple repairs run $40–$150. I'll send a clear quote before any work starts.
Typically 1–3 weeks. Rush turnaround may be possible, ask in your inquiry.
In-person is preferred (Darnestown, MD), but mail-in repairs are welcome. I'll send packing instructions.
Sometimes. For visible work I'll show you options, a clean repair, a contrasting accent, or a 'mended on purpose' look. You choose.
